Track & Field Holds Top 25 Ranking

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Tigers' track & field women have found themselves ranked in the top 25 of the nation once again, as released by the USTFCCCA (U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) on Tuesday. For the second consecutive week, the team landed at the No. 23 spot, the highest for the Tigers since the weekly rankings began in 2008.
The Southeastern Conference (SEC) holds more spots on the Top 25 list than any other conference with a total of eight teams, six of which are projected to finish in the top ten in the NCAA.

23. Missouri
25. Mississippi State
With two more meet weekends before the SEC Championships, the Tigers have already earned 25 All-Time Top Ten marks, one Missouri School Record, and 78 new personal records (PR's). The most recent of these came out of an exciting week for the Tigers which featured a series of meets in California as well as the SIUE Gateway Invitational, and the addition of six All-Time Top Ten marks and 40 PR's.
