
Tigers Finish Seventh at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate

Final Results
Columbia, Mo.— The 2014 Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate concluded Tuesday with Mizzou Men's Golf finishing in seventh place.
The Tigers used a first round lead to finish in the top half of the field. The Tigers were 4-over-par for the tournament and were 4-under-par as a team on Tuesday, finishing just behind no. 36 Kentucky and No. 39 Wake Forest.
Two Southeastern Conference teams finished in the top two spots. No. 30 Auburn (-12) took home the tournament title, while No. 24 South Carolina (-9) finished in second. Rounding out the top three was College of Charleston (-7), who just barely edged out No. 10 Virginia (-6) in the final few holes.
Euan Walker was the top finisher for the Tigers at Hootie, hosted in Awendaw, S.C. The freshman (-2) from Troon, Scotland, had his best outing of the spring as he played consistently for the entirety of the tournament and tied for 11th.
Ryan Zech also had another good outing. The junior (E) tied for 18th and now has four Top 20 finishes on the season.
Emilio Cuartero (+2), of Lleida, Spain, tied for 23rd. Senior Hunter Kraus (+6) tied for 35th and shot his lowest round score of the tournament, a 70, in Tuesday's final round. Wilson Sundvold (+10) rounded out the Tiger scoring with a tie for 49th.
Next up for the Tigers is a trip to Columbus, Ohio, where they will participate in the Robert Kepler Invitational, April 12-13.
