MINNEAPOLIS - The Mizzou women's swimming and diving team will begin action at the 2014 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday, March 20 at the University Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn. The competition, hosted by Minnesota, will run Thursday though Saturday.
Preliminary action starts at 11 a.m. CT every day, while finals sessions begin at 7 p.m. CT. Friday and Saturday's finals sessions will be streamed live on ESPN3.com.
Missouri has seven athletes at the championships, three individual swimming qualifiers, one diving qualifier and three relay alternates.
In the pool, senior junior Danielle Barbiea, sophomore Anna Patterson and freshman Katharine Ross all earned individual invites, while senior Lexi Spivak, junior Emily Doucette and freshman Brittany Hammond head to the Championships to compete on Tiger relay teams. Sophomore Lauren Reedy qualified in the diving well.
