- With today's win, Missouri improves to 16-11 in series history against Texas A&M and 5-1 in league tournament play under Frank Haith. The Tigers are 2-1 in SEC Tournament history, which includes last year's tournament win over the Aggies. Mizzou is now 22-10 overall this season and 4-1 on a neutral court, and Mizzou has earned its third consecutive win over Texas A&M.
- Junior Keanau Post earned his first career start in today's contest, it's the first time that Missouri has made a change to the starting lineup all season. Ryan Rosburg came off the bench, but did start the second half for Mizzou.
- This is the second consecutive season that Missouri and Texas A&M have met in the SEC Tournament and it was Mizzou's second overtime game of the year. The Tigers are 1-1 in OT this season.
- Head Coach Frank Haith is quickly approaching 200 career wins. With today's win, Coach Haith improves to 199 career victories. Today's victory also marks his 70th win at Mizzou. Haith is 5-1 vs. A&M since his arrival at Mizzou. Before he came to Columbia the Tigers had lost eight games in series history dating back to 2004-05.
- With 26 points in today's game, Jabari Brown now has 991 points in his career (979 as a Tiger).
He's just nine points away from reaching 1,000 points for his career and 21 shy of 1,000 in just two seasons as a Tiger. The last Tiger to score 1,000 points in two seasons was DeMarre Carroll who finished with 1,046 points in 70 games. Carroll of course is a standout for the Atlanta Hawks. - Missouri has been in a number of tight ball games this season, 21 of the last 25 games have been decided by 10 points are less.
- Jabari Brown has reached double-digits in 31-of-32 games this season. Brown has also scored 20 or more points in 18 games this season, including 12 during SEC play. His 18 20-point games in 2013-14 are the most since Paul O'Liney in the 1994-95 season (18).Prior to that, Anthony Peeler notched 20 20+ point games in the 1991-92 season.
- Jordan Clarkson has reached double-digits in all but one game this season. Clarkson finished today's contest with 12 points, two assists and two steals. It's his 75th career double-figure scoring game.
- The Tigers have controlled opponents on the glass this season. Today's 48-rebound effort was the 21st time the Tigers have outrebounded their opponent (Texas A&M had 28 boards).
- The 48 rebounds by Mizzou was a season high. The Tigers also had 19 offensive boards, their second highest total of 2013-14.
- Earnest Ross came out to a hot start for Mizzou, scoring the first seven Tiger points in the game. His 17 first-half points are the most for a Tiger this season. Previously, Ross and Jabari Brown set the season first-half points record at 16. Ross was 6-for-17 on the game today, and his 24 points are the most he has scored since dropping 25 against Alabama. He has scored in double digits 25 times this season, five of those being 20+ point performances.
- Jabari Brown, who wears No. 32 for the Tigers, scored Mizzou's 32nd point of the game today on a first-half free throw shot.
- After trailing the Aggies for a majority of the game in the last matchup (March 5), Missouri turned things around to lead for most of the game. The Tigers earned their largest lead of the game at the start of the second half, on top of the Aggies by nine.
- With two rejections on the day, Johnathan Williams III recorded his 13th game of the season with two or more blocked shots. He's got a team-leading 52 blocks on the season so far, a season number that sits seventh all-time at Mizzou, just below Alex Oriakhi who tallied 54 rejections last season.
- J3 also grabbed 15 rebounds on the day for his sixth game with 10+ rebounds this season. Williams earned his third double-double of the season with 11 points and 15 rebounds.
- Jabari Brown's two last-minute free throws tied the game at 68 with just over 47 seconds to play. Going into today's game Brown was shooting 80.2-percent from the foul line.
- Mizzou's seven three pointers today ties the school's SEC Tournament record. Missouri knocked down seven triples in last season's SEC tournament contest against Ole Miss.
- The Tigers' 91 points in today's game marks the most for a Tiger team in SEC Tournament play. Previously the Tigers high score in SEC tournament play was 62.
- Mizzou has had at least one player score 20 points or more in 25-of-32 games this season, today's game marks the 10th time this season that multiple players have scored 20+ points in the same contest, including seven of the last 13 games. Jabari Brown finished with 26 points and Earnest Ross had 24.
- Torren Jones scored four points and grabbed nine rebounds in 12 minutes. Combined the Tigers got 24 rebounds from from Jones and Williams. Williams also played a career high 43 minutes, while Earnest Ross played 48 of 50 minutes.
- Williams also tied his career high with eight offensive boards. He had eight in the win over Gardner-Webb.
