COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou women's tennis travel to San Diego, Calif. this weekend to close out their Fall 2014 schedule at the San Diego State Fall Classic. The Tigers will be one of 11 teams competing at the Aztec Tennis Center Friday - Sunday.

Competition begins at 9 a.m. each morning this weekend with doubles play and will be immediately followed with singles draws. Fans can check-in to Twitter (@MizzouTennis) for the latest scoring updates all weekend long.

Freshman Brianna Lashway looks to conclude an outstanding Fall campaign this weekend in San Diego, as she's fresh off her first NCAA event championship at the Hoosier Classic (Oct. 24-26). After winning three straight singles matches in Bloomington, Ind., the first-year Tiger was crowned with the "Hoosier" singles main draw title.

Lashway also picked up a doubles win with partner Beatriz Machado Santos at Indiana, and improved both her Fall singles and doubles records to 6-3.

Senior Alex Clark has been the strongest Tiger so far this Fall, posting an impressive 6-1 singles record and a 5-3 mark in doubles play. Her six singles wins are T-1st on the team with Brianna Lashway.

Sophomore Brittany Lashway was solid her last time out at the ITA Central Regionals and is currently riding a two match winning streak in singles. Junior Kelli Hine also produced a great outing at the ITA Regionals in mid-October, as she won two-of-three singles matches.

Following a recovery from an offseason injury, junior Madison Rhyner is set to compete in her first Fall tournament this weekend at San Diego State. The Leawood, Kan. native provides excellent depth for the Tigers, and will be counted on as a key contributor this season for head coach Sasha Schmid.
