ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - The Mizzou soccer team (11-5-3, 6-4-1 SEC) opens play at the 2014 SEC Tournament Wednesday as the Tigers take on South Carolina at 7:30 p.m. at the Orange Beach Sportsplex in Orange Beach, Ala. As the four-seed, Missouri earned a first round bye in the Tournament, opening play in Wednesday's quarterfinal action. The game will be televised live on the SEC Network, with Glenn Davis and Cat Whitehill on the call.
The winner of Wednesday's game advances to play either top-seed Texas A&M and eight-seed Georgia in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 7 at 3 p.m.
TIGER TIDBITS
-Mizzou earned the four-seed in the 2014 SEC Tournament after finishing with a 6-4-1 conference record. The Tigers were picked to finish ninth in the preseason poll.
-Mizzou has recorded two wins over ranked opponents in 2014. The squad defeated then-No. 14 South Carolina, 1-0, on Sept. 26 and posted a 2-0 win over then-No. 17 Georgia on Oct. 17.
-Four Tigers earned All-SEC honors in 2014. Senior Kaysie Clark earned a spot on the first team for the second straight year, juniors Candace Johnson and Reagan Russell were named to the second team and freshman Kaitlyn Clark claimed a spot on the All-Freshman team.

-Three Tigers have tallied at least 15 points in 2014: Kaysie Clark (16 points), senior Taylor Grant (15 points) and Russell (15 points).
-Tiger Head Coach Bryan Blitz claimed his 200th career win at Mizzou with the Tigers' 4-3
double overtime win over Montana on Sept. 12 and his 250th total career win in a 2-0 defeat of Vanderbilt on Oct. 5. His school record now stands at 207-162-24, while his career head coaching record is 252-206-32.
