Mizzou has changed the time of the annual scrimmage to accomodate youth clinic.
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou volleyball has announced that its annual Black & Gold Scrimmage will be moved to 6:30 p.m. on August 20, a half hour after the originally scheduled time of 6 p.m. The time change allows more time for the annual Black & Gold Youth Clinic, which will begin at 4:45 inside the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse. Registration for the clinic will begin at 4:15 p.m. and sign up is free of charge.
Participants in the clinic will get to improve their volleyball skills while being instructed by the 2014 Mizzou volleyball team. To pre-register for the Youth Clinic, please contact Jillian Land by e-mail at jllpn6@mail.missouri.edu and provide the attending child's name, grade in school, mailing address along with the parent's phone and e-mail address. Registration on-site on Thursday will begin at 4:15 p.m. Children that attend the clinic and Black & Gold scrimmage will also be treated to pizza prior to the match and an autograph session following the match. The clinic will run until 5:45 p.m.
