Coral Springs, Fla. - Mizzou golfer Katherine Hepler was recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) on Wednesday as an All-American Scholar. The sophomore is one of 664 women's collegiate golfers at the Division I, II and III levels to be recognized with these honors. The distinction marks Hepler's second consecutive season as a member of the WGCA All-American Scholar Team.
As announced by the WGCA, members of the All-American Scholar Team must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or above. Hepler is one of just 24 SEC student-athletes to be named to the All-American Scholar Team this season. She is currently studying chemical engineering at Mizzou.
