Mizzou Lands 16 on CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Sixteen members of the Mizzou swimming and diving program were named Scholar All-Americans by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). In addition, the Tiger women were named as a Scholar All-America Team.
To qualify for Scholar All-America recognition, the student-athlete must have a 3.5 or higher GPA and have competed at the NCAA Championships. The CSCAA also recognizes an Honorable Mention squad for those not making the NCAAs.
Five Mizzou women earned Scholar All-America honors in 2013: Danielle Barbiea, Dominique Bouchard, Cassie Cunningham, Emily Doucette and Anna Patterson. Additionally, Madison Bridges, Sharon Finn, Lauren Reedy, Rachel Ripley and Alex Skinner were selected as Honorable Mention Scholar All-Americans.
On the men's side, five Tigers also garnered first team accolades: David Bonuchi, Mark Conroy, Joe Hladik, Igor Kozlovskij and Alex Glogoza. John Higgins earned Honorable Mention honors.
The Mizzou women's squad was named to the CSCAA Team Scholar All-America Award list with a 3.22 GPA.
