- This season's Tiger squad is the fourth team in the last seven years at Mizzou to reach double-digit victory totals, as the Tigers went 12-2 in 2007, 10-4 in 2008, 10-3 in 2010 and this year's 11-2 mark.
- The remarkable comeback of junior TB Henry Josey continued with his 123 rushing yards vs. Auburn, pushing the Tiger past 1,000 rushing yards for the season (1,074).
- Josey's night included a 65-yard rush to set up Mizzou's final touchdown of 3Q action, a James Franklin QB draw from five yards out. The rush was the fourth-longest run of Josey's career at Mizzou and also his seventh career rush of 50 or more yards.
- Mizzou sophomore WR Dorial Green-Beckham set a new career-high in receiving yards with his 144 yards on 6 receptions. His previous career high was 105 yards (8 rec.) in the win at Indiana this season.
- Mizzou extended its nation-leading streak of games forcing a takeaway to 43 games when junior DE Kony Ealy sacked Auburn QB Nick Marshall and stripped him of the football, giving MU the ball at 11:58 1Q. The forced fumble was the third of Ealy's career.
- Ealy's next big play resulted in points for Mizzou, as he forced a second Marshall fumble on a designed run that was scooped up by senior CB E.J. Gaines and returned 11 yards to put Mizzou up 17-14 at 13:11 2Q. Ealy became the first Tiger to force two fumbles in a single game since senior DE Michael Sam accomplished the feat against Alabama in 2012. The score by Gaines was Mizzou's first fumble return for a touchdown since Sam scored on a fumble return from 21 yards out in the win at No. 7 Georgia on Oct. 12, 2013.
- Mizzou has jumped on top of opposing teams on the scoreboard all season, only trailing at the half for the second time this season vs. Auburn. The Tigers overcame a 14-7 halftime deficit vs. No. 19 Texas A&M (Nov. 30) to win 28-21, clinching the SEC Eastern Division title.
