Mizzou Family: My sister (1993), brother in law (1993), and I (1997) all graduated from Mizzou. I became a Mizzou fan early in my life because I grew up going to football and basketball games with my dad. My dad has had season football tickets for 35 years and now we share those tickets. I have great childhood memories of tailgating on football Saturdays and some great basketball teams in the 80s. Those trips to Columbia with my dad and other family and friends throughout the years are priceless memories I hold dear.
Favorite Moment at Mizzou: My first year at Mizzou as a student I was sitting in section A when Mizzou beat Nebraska to go undefeated in Big 8 basketball. I'll never forget when the last second shot from Eric Piatkowski that rimmed out and the celebration in Hearnes Center began. That team, led by one of my favorite players Melvin Booker, was fun to watch.
Why you give to TSF: I want the Missouri sports programs to be the best that they can possibly be. The best coaches, best facilities, best medical care, best educational resources, etc…
Favorite Mizzou Tradition: The MIZ-ZOU chant.
Favorite former or current Mizzou student-athlete: It's a tie between Anthony Peeler & Kim English.
Why you think others should give to TSF: To compete in the SEC, Mizzou needs all the resources it can get to help stay competitive. It also helps provide an education for those representing the school we love.
