• Mizzou improved to 8-1 on the season to mark the third consecutive season and fourth time in five years the Tigers started the year 8-1.
• The win improved Mizzou's consecutive non-conference home game win streak to 71, dating back to early in the 2005-06 season.
• The Tigers are now 14-0 in home non-conference games under Head Coach Frank Haith. All 14 of the victories have been by double figures.
• The Tigers improved to 9-0 against Ohio Valley Conference teams since the 2003-04 season.
• Mizzou is in the midst of a 23-game winning streak in the month of December. The Tigers have not lost in December since Dec. 9, 2009.

• The Tigers grabbed 52 rebounds in the contest to mark the eighth time in nine games Mizzou has at least 40 in a game and the third time they had at least 50. The Tigers entered the game ranked fourth nationally with 45.0 rebounds per contest.
• Mizzou held Tennessee State to 38 points on 23.8 percent (15-63) shooting from the floor, both season lows for Tiger opponents.
• Senior Laurence Bowers recorded his third double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds. He also had double-doubles against Stanford (19 pts, 10 rbs) and VCU (14 pts, 11 rbs).
• With his 18 points against Tennessee State, Bowers needs just 10 points to become the 44th Tiger to score 1,000 points in his career.
• Bowers has now made 11 3-point field goals in the first nine games of 2012-13. He made just 10 total 3-pointers in his first three seasons as a Tiger.
• Freshman Stefan Jankovic notched a career high 14 points, all in the second half, against Tennessee State. His previous best was eight points against Alcorn State. His five rebounds also tied a career high.
• Senior Alex Oriakhi notched 15 points and 10 rebounds to record his fifth double figure output of the season.
• Freshman Negus Webster-Chan tied a career high with four assists, a mark he also recorded against SIUE.
• Junior Earnest Ross nabbed a season high three steals against Tennessee State.
• The Tigers had two players record double-doubles in the same game for the third time this season. Before this year, that happened just twice total since the 2005-06 season.
