
Mizzou Golf In Contention at Bank of Tennessee

Missouri Golf is within striking distance of earning its fourth consecutive victory of the 2012 fall campaign, as the Tigers stand just four shots behind fellow SEC foe Tennessee after 36 holes of play at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate.
Missouri (-5) is currently tied for third place with Memphis (-5), one shot behind Virginia (-6) and four shots behind the Volunteers (-9).
Memphis' Grant Milner owns an impressive five-shot lead in the race for the individual crown. Milner fired back-to-back rounds of 67-67 (-10) and leads Wake Forest's Evan Beck (-5) and Missouri's Jace Long (-4).
With Long leading the way, Missouri has remained in contention due to great team consistency once again. Long (70-70--140) is third overall heading into Sunday's finale, while junior Emilio Cuartero (71-70--141) is tied for sixth.
Hunter Kraus (+1) and Jacob Fair (+1) are tied for 24th. Both players shot rounds of 72-73--145 and are followed up by sophomore Ryan Zech who shot 78-73--151.
Play at the 2012 Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate concludes on Sunday. The Tigers will be paired with tourney leaders Tennessee and Virginia.
