POSTGAME notes
- The win for the Tigers is their 14th straight home win to open the season after going a perfect 10-0 in non-conference play. In fact, Mizzou is nearly unblemished at home since the end of the 2007-08 campaign, winning 48 of its last 50 home games.
-The winning streak equals the eighth longest home winning streak in school history, tying 14-game runs in 1976-77, 1995-96 and 2002-03.
-Ricardo Ratliffe went 4-for-4 in the first half scoring ten points for the Tigers. He finished the game with 14 points and nine rebounds.
-The Buffaloes had 15 turnovers in the first half to the Tigers' eight. Missouri scored 20 points off of turnovers and Colorado only put up eight points off turnovers.
-Missouri improved to a 16-0 record when leading at the half. The Tigers were up 16 on the Buffs midway through the game.
-The Tigers have enjoyed 15-point second-half leads in each of the nine home games.
-Junior guard Marcus Denmon has reached double figures in 19 of his last 20 games, the most for the Tigers this season. He put up 17 points in his 27 mins of playing time.
-The Tigers tallied 15 steals, the most in a game since Dec. 18 when Missouri hosted Central Arkansas.
-Missouri had five players put up double digits for the third consecutive home game, 13 by Phil Pressey, 14 by Ricardo Ratliffe, 13 by Michael Dixon, 17 by Marcus Denmon and 21 by Kim English.
-This game marks Kim English's fourth game as a leading scorer. It is also his second game scoring over 20 points.
-Phil Pressey has earned three or more steals five times this season. He had five of Missouri's fifteen steals in the game. The last time a Missouri player has had five steals was against North Florida on Nov. 20, 2010 when Michael Dixon and Phil Pressey both grabbed five.
-Missouri and Colorado finish their conference series with Missouri leading 99-53.
