Missouri Continues Homestand against UND

COLUMBIA, MO. - Missouri Women's Basketball looks to improve to 7-1 on the season as the Tigers take on North Dakota at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10. Mizzou will also be collecting items for Toys-for-Tots around the concourse.

LAST TIME OUT
Missouri hosted Eastern Illinois on Dec. 7 in a heated battle. The Tigers came back in the last few seconds of the game to top the Panthers 56-54 and improve to 6-1 on the season. Senior Christine Flores recorded her first-career triple double. The record marks the first triple-double in program history since the 1995-96 season. The Tigers recorded 14 blocks on the night to set a single-game record at Mizzou as well.

UP NEXT
The Tigers play three more contests in Mizzou Arena before opening Big 12 play at Baylor on Jan. 4. Missouri will host Evansville on Dec. 19, Memphis on the 22nd and Sam Houston State on Dec. 30. Missouri will have a special guest on the concourse on Dec. 19 as Santa Clause will be visiting with Tiger fans before the game begins!

SCOUTING NORTH DAKOTA
The North Dakota Fighting Sioux are 4-4 on the season coming to Mizzou off of a 58-52 loss to Colorado State. The Sioux are on a three-game losing streak that started with a 60-74 loss to Drake on Dec. 1. After a season-opening loss to Creighton, The Fighting Sioux continued the season with four wins in a row over Idaho, Duquesne, Southern Utah and New Mexico State. Sophomore Madi Buck is leading the Fighting Sioux, averaging 11.8 points per game. She has tallied 14 assists and 10 steals on the season, and averages 9.5 rebounds per game.

SERIES HISTORY WITH UND
This will be the first meeting between the Tigers and the Fighting Sioux.

GREAT WEST SERIES HISTORY
The Tigers are 3-0 against Great West Conference opponents. Mizzou is 1-0 against NJIT and 2-0 against Texas-Pan American.

>Before shooting 33.3 percent against Eastern Illinois, Mizzou had hit 45.5 percent of field goals or better in each of the first six games this season.

The Tigers' win over Eastern Illinois marks Mizzou Arena's 70th Women's Basketball victory. The Women's Basketball team is 70-44 in Mizzou Arena since the facility opened in October of 2004.
