Columbia, Mo. - The Missouri swimming and diving team will travel to Springfield, Mo. to take on Missouri State for the second time this season on November, 11 at 5:00 p.m. The Mizzou team met the Bears for the first time this season in the Show-Me Showdown where they also competed against Drury, Washington University, William Jewel, Lindenwood University, and Missouri S&T.
The Tigers hope to build on the success they achieved at last weekends' tri-meet against the University of Kentucky and Southern Illinois University. Igor Kozlovskij took first in the men's 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 56.33 while Mark Conroy took the third place spot with a time of 57.68. In the men's 100 yard backstroke, John Higgins took the first place spot with a time of 50.88.
The Tiger's swept the top three spots in the men's 200 yard IM with Kozlovskij placing first with a time of 1:51.50, Yaniv Shnaider in second with a time of 1:52.96 and Mack Darragh taking third with a time of 1:54.33. Missouri also took second in the men's 400 yard medley relay with the team of Higgins, Mark Conroy, Kozlovskij, and Remom Melo achieving a time of 3:22.83.
