Columbia, Mo. -Mizzou Women's Basketball welcomes the University of Missouri-St. Louis to Mizzou Arena for the Tigers' second exhibition game of the season. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday November 8th, and admission and parking for the game are free.

LAST TIME OUTThe Tigers opened exhibition play on Nov. 1 when they hosted Truman State at Mizzou Arena. The Tigers topped the Bulldogs, 82-54, and Mizzou's five newcomers proved they are a force to be reckoned with. The five newcomers combined to score 44 points, grab 18 rebounds and tally eight assists. The Tigers kept control of the ball and didn't allow the Bulldogs to score in the last 5:45 of the game. Six Tigers scored eight or more points in the game as well.

UP NEXTThe Tigers hit the road to open the regular season with a three-game away stretch. Mizzou opens the regular season at UTSA in San Antonio, Texas, on Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. Missouri will then play Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. in Corpus Christi, Texas, before facing Saint Louis at 7 p.m. on Nov. 16.

SCOUTING MISSOURI-ST. LOUISIn their season opener, the Tritons dropped 92-52 to the Illinois State Redbirds. ISU scored the first 21 points of the game, before USML could get on the board in the 13th minute. Despite the difficulties in their first game, the Tritons are coming off of an impressive season in 2010-11 as the team posted a 10-17 record and advanced to the GLVC post-season tournament for the second consecutive year. UMSL was picked to finish fifth in the West Division in the Great Lakes Valley Conference by the league's coaches this season. The team is returning eight letterwinners from last season in addition to welcoming seven newcomers. The new members of the team are comprised of three freshmen and four junior college transfers.

SERIES HISTORYMissouri has a 6-3 lead in the series with Missouri-St. Louis. The Tigers last saw the Tritons in the 1996-97 season, which was the first season of the Big 12 Conference, and Mizzou earned an 84-44 victory in the game. The Tigers earned a team game record during a meeting with the Tritons in the 1977-78 season, Mizzou scored a record-high 121 points in the game to earn a 121-24 victory.
