COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou wrestling squad opened their season with the annual Black and Gold exhibition on Sunday morning, wrestling 24 matches on two mats at the Hearnes Center. A solid crowd packed the Hearnes, as 612 fans were in attendance for the wrestle-offs.
Several Tigers impressed on the day, including Alan Waters, who defeated freshman Boomer Boyd by an 18-3 technical fall at 125 pounds.
