Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri tennis team hosted the Mizzou Tennis Community Doubles on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Green Tennis Center. The event was open to 16 members of the Columbia tennis community and was a great way for the community to play and converse with the Mizzou Tennis family.

"Our team members had the chance to get to know and play with some wonderful members of the Columbia tennis community. There was some good tennis out there," Mizzou Head Coach Sasha Schmid said.

The applicants had the opportunity to play three hours of doubles play with the team, socialize and received a Mizzou Tennis t-shirt.

"We want to thank everyone who participated for supporting our team. We really appreciate it," Schmid said. "We hope to continue to hold these events throughout the year and can't wait to host another community doubles in the spring on our new outdoor courts!"
