Football Season Tickets On Sale

COLUMBIA, Mo. – As Mizzou Football hits the homestretch for its spring camp, Tiger fans can get a jump on the exciting 2011 season by purchasing season tickets. An exciting slate of six games lines the schedule, including matchups against three bowl teams from a year ago, along with games against Texas and the centennial edition of Homecoming, versus Iowa State.

Season tickets are now available for purchase, and prices have been set at: $319 for General Public, $242 for Faculty/Staff, $229 for Tiger Zone/South Endzone, $199 for Young Alumni, and $600 for Touchdown Terrace. Fans can also add padded chairback seats to their season ticket locations for only $35 per seat.

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.mutigers.com/buytickets, or can be reserved in person at the Mizzou Arena Ticket Office, or via phone at 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Mid-Missouri).

The 2011 year will be an historic one, with the onset of the newly formed Big 12 Conference. Tiger fans will get to see Mizzou match up against Big 12 foes Iowa State (Oct. 15th), Oklahoma State (Oct. 22nd), Texas (Nov. 12th) and Texas Tech (Nov. 19th). The game against Iowa State will serve as Homecoming, and marks the 100th edition of the nationwide tradition which got its start on the Missouri campus. Non-conference home games are set for Sept. 3rd against Miami (Ohio) – the defending champions of the MAC Conference, and Sept. 17th against Western Illinois.

Mizzou has been to six consecutive bowl games, and has won 40 games over the past four seasons – a figure which ranks 10th-best in the nation from 2007-10.

Fans are encouraged to buy their season tickets by the April 29th priority deadline to be entered in Mizzou's 30-for-30 April promotion. One fan will be selected randomly each of the 30 days in April to win exclusive Mizzou experiences or prize packages.
