- Missouri forced its 11th turnover in four games in the first eight seconds of play with a forced fumble. Mizzou tallied three turnovers in the game, two fumbles and one interception.
- Missouri scored in the first eight seconds of play (14:52), which is the fastest touchdown in Head Coach Gary Pinkel's tenure at Mizzou. The second fastest TD during that time came in 2007 when Will Franklin scored off of a 57-yard pass from quarterback Chase Daniel with 14:43 on the clock.
- The Tigers rushed for 129 yards in the first quarter, which tops total net rushing yards against both Illinois (98) and San Diego State (89). Missouri recorded 238 total net rushing yards in the game, which is the most recorded in a game since 2009 against Kansas.
- Mizzou's 28 first-half points mark the most by a Miami opponent since Western Michigan scored the same total on Sept. 19, 2009. The Tigers final output of 51 points was the most allowed since 54-21 loss to Kent State on Oct. 25, 2008.
- Mizzou had 252 consecutive extra points until a miss in the third quarter. The broken streak of 252 went back five years to 2005 and was 10 away from Syracuse's NCAA record of 262.
- With an interception against Miami (Ohio), the Tigers now have eight on the season to tie last year's season total.
- This is Missouri's 21st straight non-conference victory in the regular season.
- The Tigers have put points on the board in 14 out of 16 quarters of football played this season.
- Mizzou recorded the highest score of the season today, winning 51-13. Missouri's highest recorded score is 77 points against Oklahoma in 1986.
- Four different Tiger running backs scored touchdowns.
- TB De'Vion Moore had his longest run of the season of 27 yards in the first quarter.
- TB Kendial Lawrence earned his first career touchdown on a 39-yard run to score Missouri's second touchdown of the game.
- QB Blaine Gabbert was a perfect 4-4 in the first quarter and 15 for 21 overall in the game.
- WR L'Damian Washington and DE Brad Madison earned their first career starts this afternoon.
- WR Wes Kemp scored his first touchdown of the season in the third quarter.
- TB Marcus Murphy scored his first career touchdown as a Tiger and recorded a career-high 48-yards on four carries.
- PK Grant Ressel was a perfect 54 of 54 in extra points converted in his career until the third quarter. The missed PAT was the first miss for Missouri since 2005, when Adam Crossett missed against Colorado.
- WR T.J. Moe has 37 receptions through the first four games of the season, which is the most in program history through the first four games. Danario Alexander set the single season record for most receptions in 2009 with 113. Moe recorded seven receptions against Miami.
- QB Blaine Gabbert has two rushing touchdowns through the first four games on the season, approaching his total of three in the 2009 season.
- SS Kenji Jackson recorded 13 carries on the afternoon to more than double his total in the first three games of the year. He came into the game with 11 tackles.
