Columbia, Mo. -
Mizzou Basketball announced its 2010-11 schedule on Monday and the Tigers have once again assembled a challenging slate, complete with non-conference dates vs. Top 25 foes in Kansas City and St. Louis and a Thanksgiving week trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
The Tigers open the season with back-to-back home tilts against Western Illinois (Nov. 18) and North Florida (Nov. 20) in the 2010 Cancun Challenge before traveling south of the border for games vs. Wyoming and then either Providence or La Salle. After traveling back on Thanksgiving Day, Missouri will meet returning NCAA qualifier Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 28, kicking off a difficult stretch of games that includes a neutral-site contest with Georgetown in Kansas City (Nov. 30), a road date at Oregon in the Big 12 / Pac-10 Hardwood Series and a home tilt with Vanderbilt (Dec. 8).
Mizzou finishes off the fall semester with home contests against Presbyterian (Dec. 11) and Oral Roberts (Dec. 16) and then hosts former Arkansas Razorback Corliss Williamson and Central Arkansas (Dec. 18) before the annual holiday match-up with Illinois at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis on Dec. 22.
Non-conference action then concludes with games against Northern Illinois (Dec. 27), NCAA Tournament foe Old Dominion (Dec. 30) and North Alabama (Jan. 5).
Big 12 play then takes center stage on Jan. 8 when the Tigers travel to Boulder, Colo., to meet the Colorado Buffaloes.
Missouri also announced its completed 2010-11 television schedule. The Mizzou Sports Network will carry 13 games this season, including both exhibition contests on Nov. 5 vs. Harris Stowe State and Nov. 12 vs. Arkansas-Fort Smith. Mizzou Sports Network games are carried in Mid-Missouri on KOMU or Fox Sports Midwest, in Kansas City on Metro Sports and on Fox Sports Midwest in St. Louis and throughout the state. Updated programming information for specific games will be released prior to and during the season.

Schedule Notes
Missouri will have a total of 12 games vs. returning NCAA Tournament opponents, including four NCAA Teams in non-conference play. Old Dominion, Vanderbilt, Georgetown and Arkansas-Pine Bluff each reached the Big Dance last season.
Missouri is finishing series' with Vanderbilt and Oral Roberts, but is starting a challenging home-and-home with Old Dominion.
Missouri and Old Dominion will likely meet three consecutive years. The Tigers and Monarchs met last year in the South Padre Island Invitational with Mizzou earning a 66-61 win.
Missouri's regular-season opener vs. Western Illinois and second game vs. North Florida are considered opening-round games of the 2010 Cancun Challenge. Both UNF and WIU will be in Cancun as well, but will be in separate brackets.
The Tigers have a few series firsts on the schedule. This year's meetings with North Florida, Presbyterian, Central Arkansas, Northern Illinois and North Alabama will mark the first-ever meetings between the programs. Should Mizzou face Providence in Mexico that will be the first meeting between those clubs as well.
