KC Royals Host Mizzou Night At The K

Columbia, Mo. - Missouri Tiger fans in the Kansas City area are encouraged to clear their calendars on July 17 and join Mizzou Basketball Head Coach Mike Anderson and several MU student-athletes for the 2010 Mizzou Night at the K, hosted by the Kansas City Royals.
The Royals will be facing the Oakland Athletics on Saturday night at 6:10 p.m. and the first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive a retro KC cap upon entry.
Anderson and selected KC-area Tigers will be on hand in Lot N of the Kauffman Stadium parking lot prior to the contest and Tiger fans can breakout their tailgating materials (and Mizzou Gold attire) before the Sept. 4 football season-opener against the University of Illinois at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.
Anderson will also throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the contest.
The Royals are offering discounted ticket prices for Tiger fans in advance of this event. Field Plaza seats are available for just $15 (originally $26) and Hy-Vee Infield seats (originally $16) are just $8. In addition, the Royals have designated Lot N as a special Tiger Tailgate lot and parking for Tiger fans is also discounted to $8 per vehicle.
