
Tiger Caravan to Visit Springfield April 29

Columbia, Mo. ¾ The University of Missouri Athletic Department and the Tiger Scholarship Fund invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with Head Football Coach Gary Pinkel, Head Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Director of Athletics Mike Alden and other Tiger coaches and select student-athletes, when the Mizzou Caravan stops in Springfield, Mo., Thurs., April 29th.
Tiger Athletics will sponsor a dinner and “Tiger Talk” reception that evening at Rival's Sports Bar, located at 3662 S. Glenstone in Springfield. A social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m., when fans can mingle with the Caravan party and order food and drinks off the menu at regular prices, with the program starting up at 6:30 p.m. There is no fee to attend the event.
Anderson, coming off of an exciting 23-win campaign, will be on hand to discuss the recently completed season which included a second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament. Pinkel will recap the 2010 spring football camp, which concludes April 17th with the annual Black & Gold Spring Game, while Alden will be on hand to discuss various topics concerning Mizzou Athletics. The event will be emceed by Mike Kelly, the Voice of the Tigers.
