
Tigers Take on Arkansas and South Carolina

The Missouri Tigers' men's and women's swimming and diving teams head to Fayetteville, Ark. Friday, Nov. 5 to face challenging SEC competition. Missouri's men will compete against South Carolina, while the women face both South Carolina and Arkansas at 2 pm.
Missouri is coming off of a strong weekend of competition. The women's team defeated Kansas for the sixth consecutive year, 165.00 - 129.00. The Tigers won 11 events, including a sweep of the boards in both 1 meter and 3 meter diving, as well as two record-setting finishes in the 100 and 200 back by Dominique Bouchard.
The men's team last competed at the Southwest Plunge, where they notched a third place finish against Texas, Texas A&M, SMU, and TCU. The 400 medley relay team of Roko Simunic, Michael Lopresti, Anders Melin, and Jordan Hawley placed third for Missouri with a time of 3:23.00, while Yaniv Shnaider finished second in the 200 IM with a time of 1:53.62.
The Tigers will face some of their toughest competition to date this weekend. The South Carolina women are a perfect 3-0 on the season, while Arkansas stands at 3-1. The South Carolina men's squad are undefeated as well, with a 2-0 record.
