Columbia, Mo--After 90 minutes of intense competition, the Tigers beat the Buffaloes 1-0 and improved to 5-5-2 overall, 3-1 Big 12. Jess Greer scored her first goal of the season to give Mizzou the win.

After a scoreless first half, the Tigers came out with a vengeance. Missouri tallied six shots and three shots on goal in the first half to Colorado's four shots and two shots on goal. The Tigers and the Buffs rallied through the middle for most of the game, but Mizzou was able to pull through.
Missouri's first goal came from Jess Greer, assisted by Haley Krentz. Krentz sent a corner kick across the goal to be headed by Krista Kruse. The ball found Krentz and then Greer who netted it into the upper right corner. The goal is Greer's first of the season. Krentz has tallied two assists so far.
