
Men's Golf Takes 11th in Tennessee

The Mizzou men's golf team finished in 11th place at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate with a three-round total of 885, following a final round 301 on Sunday.
Virginia won the event with a 54-hole score of 853, followed by Kent State at 857.
Leading the Tigers individually was sophomore Jace Long, who tied for fourth place with a three-day total of 211. Long shot a 73 in Sunday's third round, turning in the best score of the day for the Tigers.
Sophomore Stuart Ballingall tied for 21st spot at 218 after he carded a round of 75 on Sunday. Senior William Harrold shot a final round 76 and tied for 48th place with a three-round score of 225.
Freshman Hunter Krause tied for 64th with a 231 total, while junior Chris Johnson placed 75th with a 254 score.
Kent State's Mackenzie Hughes claimed the individual medalist honors with a 203 final after he shot round of 65 on Sunday. Long and Hughes were tied for the tournament leading heading into the final round.
Missouri will conclude its fall schedule with the Memphis Intercollegiate on Oct. 25-26.
