
Missouri Finishes 11th at McNamara Invite

A 313 in the final round of the Dale McNamara Invitational gave the Mizzou women's golf team a 54-hole total of 932 to finish in 11th place. The Tigers finished just one shot behind 10th place Kansas State.
Individually, senior Nicola Race led Mizzou with a 23rd place finish with a three-round total of 229. Junior Marissa Cook shot the best round of the day for the Tigers, carding a 75 in Wednesday's final round. She finished in a tie for 37th place with a final total of 233. Joining Cook in the group tied for 37th was freshman Ariana Savich, who recorded a 76 on Wednesday.
Sophomore Ahnna Kim tied for 51st place with a three-round total of 237, while freshman Kate Gallagher tied for 74th with a 250 score.
Freshman Taylor Gohn competed as an individual in the tournament and finished with a 54-hole score of 244 to place in a tie for 68th place.
The top three spots in the team standings were occupied by Big 12 teams led by Oklahoma's three-round total of 877. Oklahoma State and Texas tied for second with a score of 900.
Mizzou will conclude its fall schedule at the Las Vegas Shootout on Oct. 25-27.
