COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou softball team will continue their fall season with another doubleheader this Saturday, as they play host to Heartland Community College and Johnson County Community College.  Game one will begin at Noon CT at University Field.

The Tigers improved to 4-0 in the fall last weekend after defeating Meramec Community College, 17-0, and Jefferson College, 4-0.  Junior Kristin Nottelmann threw five strong innings in game two, while Marla Schweisberger had six hits in the two games with three runs and three RBI.  Nicole Hudson hit her second home run of the fall in the first game.

Heartland won the 2009 NJCAA D-II National Championship and advanced to the 2010 National Tournament last season.  Johnson County brings in 12 newcomers to a team that went 48-11 last year, won their conference title and advanced to nationals.
