COLUMBIA, Mo. -This afternoon, staffers from University Hospital, along with members of the Mizzou Athletic Department, hosted a rally to kick off the University's United Way campaign.
Among the participants were football coach Gary Pinkel, men's basketball coach Mike Anderson and women's basketball coach Robin Pingeton.
Assistant Athletic Trainer Jen Artioli, the athletic department's United Way chair for 2010, said, "It was great to see the excitement on the staff and patients' faces when they had a little taste of some good Ol' Mizzou Spirit!"
Artioli also reported that the department is at 76 percent of its goal, with about 25 percent of the forms outstanding.
