COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri softball team continues their fall schedule on Saturday with another doubleheader, as they welcome Meramec Community College and Jefferson College.  The games will take place at Noon CT and 2 p.m. CT, respectively, at University Field.

The Tigers won both games last weekend, beating Maple Woods Community College, 4-0, while following that up with an 18-1 victory against North Central Missouri College.  Ashley Fleming and Lisa Simmons each picked up victories in the circle, while Tiger pitchers combined to limit their opponents to a .089 batting average.

Fleming was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, scoring three times and driving in a run.  Nicole Hudson and Megan Christopher each homered and plated four runs, while Ashlie Ortega slugged 1.600 after picking up a double and two triples.

Meramec finished in second at last year's Region XVI Tournament.  Jefferson College is 13-1-1 this fall after going 35-21 last year while winning their conference championship.
