COLUMBIA, Mo. - Missouri junior Rhea Taylor added another accolade to her constantly-growing list, as she was selected to the 2010 Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team, announced Tuesday night following the conclusion of the WCWS.
Taylor led all hitters at the Women's College World Series with a .714 batting average after going 5-for-7 in her two games. She scored a pair of runs, and drove home a run on a solo home run against Hawaii that put Missouri up 2-1 at the time. Her on base percentage ranked in at .750, while she slugged a whopping 1.143. Taylor also swiped a bag and drew a walk.
The Buford, Ga., native, who earned All-America for the second time in her career last week, is the first Tiger to ever be named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team.
