Columbia, Mo. ¾ The University of Missouri Athletic Department and the Tiger Scholarship Fund invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with Head Football Coach Gary Pinkel, Head Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Director of Athletics Mike Alden and other Tiger coaches and select student-athletes, when the Mizzou Caravan stops in St. Joseph, Mo., Thurs., April 22nd.
Tiger Athletics will sponsor a “Tiger Talk” dinner program that evening at the St. Joseph Country Club, at 50 Ridgeland Road, in St. Joseph. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a speaking program, beginning at 7:15 p.m. The cost is $25 per person ($20 for Tiger Scholarship Fund donors), and includes a dinner and doorprizes.
Anderson, coming off of an exciting 23-win campaign, will be on hand to discuss the recently completed season which included a second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament. Pinkel will recap the 2010 spring football camp, which concludes April 17th with the annual Black & Gold Spring Game, while Alden will be on hand to discuss various topics concerning Mizzou Athletics. The event will be emceed by Mike Kelly, the Voice of the Tigers.
