Norman, Okla. - Official seedings for Saturday's Big 12 Wrestling Championships were announced by the league office Friday evening. Two time All-American Max Askren (Hartland, Wisc.) received a No. 1 seed at 184 pounds, while senior Nick Marable (Collierville, Tenn.) received a No. 2 seed at 165 pounds.

Seedings were finalized by a vote of the conference coaches and are based on head-to-head competition against Big 12 opponents, highest-ranked common opponents and current national rankings.

Wrestling for the 14th annual Big 12 Championships will begin at 11 a.m. (CT) in the Howard McCasland Field House. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m., with tickets still available for the all-day event.
