
Tiger Caravan to Visit Lake of the Ozarks May 12

Columbia, Mo. ¾ The University of Missouri Department of Athletics and the Tiger Scholarship Fund invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with Head Men's Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Head Football Coach Gary Pinkel, Director of Athletics Mike Alden, and other Tiger administrators and student-athletes when the Mizzou Caravan stops in the Lake of the Ozarks, Tues., May 12th.
Tiger Athletics will sponsor a “Tiger Talk” reception that evening at Ruthie D's, located at 4466 Horshoe Bend Parkway in Lake Ozark. The cost to attend is $15 and includes a casual meal as well as the program, with proceeds benefitting the Tiger Scholarship Fund.
Anderson, the 2009 NABC National Coach of the Year, will recap Mizzou's magical 2008-09 season which ended just one win shy of the Final Four. Pinkel will recap the 2009 spring football camp, and provide a look ahead to the much-anticipated 2009 Tiger Football season. Men's basketball standout J.T. Tiller, along with football standout Carl Gettis, will be on hand for comments and autographs as well, while Alden and others will be on hand to talk Tiger Athletics in general. The event will be emceed by Mike Kelly, the Voice of the Tigers.
