Pregame Notes:
- Freshman Michael Dixon earned the fourth start of his career and second-straight, dating back to last week's contest with Farliegh Dickinson. Dixon also connected on his first field goal attempt of the game, giving the Tigers a 5-0 lead.
-The other four starters for the Tigers were Laurence Bowers, Kim English, Keith Ramsey and Zaire Taylor.
- The game is the Tigers' second-straight contest at Mizzou Arena.
- The game is the first of six that the Tigers will host during the winter break from classes.
First Half Notes: Score at halftime: 40-29
- Sophomore Kim English scored five of Mizzou's first seven points to open the half as Mizzou began the game on a 9-2 run. All nine of the Tigers' points in that span came off of turnovers.
- 17 of the Tigers' 40 points in the first half were off of turnovers. Arkansas-Pine Bluff was limited to just four points off of turnovers in the first half as Mizzou committed only five.
- Mizzou forced the Lions into 13 turnovers in the first half, eight of which came via the steal.
- Mizzou used an 18-0 run midway through the first half as it built an 40-29 lead by half time.
- Mizzou held the Lions scoreless for a span of 7:58 during the first half. The Lions scored their seventh point at the 12:51 mark of the half and did not score again until the 4:53 mark.

Second Half Notes:
- The Tigers opened the second half on a 29-14 run.

Post-Game Notes:
- Tonight's win extends Mizzou's home winning streak to 25-straight games. Mizzou's last home loss was the 2007-08 season finale against Iowa State. The 25-straight wins are the third-longest active streak in the nation. Pittsburgh is one win ahead of the Tigers at 26-in-a-row.
- The win also moves Mizzou's non-conference home winning streak to 43-0 with 36 of those wins coming since head coach Mike Anderson took over the program.
- The win also improves Mizzou to 6-0 at home this season.
- Michael Dixon finished the game with a career-best 13 points, eclipsing his previous best of 11 on a 3-point basket at the 8:43 mark of the second half.

- Mizzou finished the game with more than a third of its points coming off of turnovers. Forcing 20 Lion turnovers in the game, Mizzou finished with 30 points off of those miscues, 16 more than the Lions. 13 of the Lions' 20 turnovers came off of Tiger steals in the game.
