
Help Kraft Foods and the Missouri Tigers Tackle Hunger!

COLUMBIA, MO-- - Kraft Foods is helping to SCORE against hunger in a food drive, culminating at the Missouri-Iowa State football game at Memorial Stadium on November 21.
"32 area grocery stores in Central Missouri are joining the effort to collect food to be distributed in their counties," said Kraft spokesperson, Denny Belcastro, Vice President Customer Development and Industry Affairs. "Our goal is to collect food and raise awareness for those in need."
Fans can drop off food at three different stations around the stadium on November 21 as well as participating locations at the following grocers, now through November 21; Bings, Bratcher's Markets, Eastgate Foods, Moser's, Parkers Supermarket, Patricia's and Bob's Country Markets, Piggly Wiggly, Prenger's Foods and Village Market.
Please bring non-perishable food in non-glass containers. Foods high in protein are especially appreciated. The Central Missouri Food Bank will distribute food collected in their 32 county service area to their 129 agencies in central and northeast Missouri. The Food Bank University of Missouri Athletic Department will announce the total of the 2009 SCORE Against Hunger drive with a check presentation on the field during the break between the first and second quarter.
