
Mizzou Takes Third at Imes Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou women's golf team climbed the leaderboard in round three of the Third Annual Johnie Imes Invitational, finishing in third place after carding a final round score of 299. The Tigers three-round score of 913 trailed only Wisconsin (908) and Tulsa (912).
MU senior Michelle Morgan finished in a tie for second place with a 54-hole total of 233 after carding a final round score of 73. She was joined in the top-10 by sophomore Hannah Lovelock, who placed in a tie for ninth with a 227 total.
Two-time defending champion Julia Potter tied for 18th-spot with a three-round score of 230 after turning in a 74 in the third round.
Junior Nicola Race tied for 43rd place with a 226 total, while freshman Ahnna Kim finished in a tie for 45th spot with a 237 score.
Competing individually, sophomore Jacque Bardgett shot 248, juniors Lindsay Burry and Lindsey Haupt carded scores of 250, sophomore Kelsey Meyer had a 252 total, sophomore Marissa Cook finished with a score of 254, freshman Rebecca Godman had a 256 total and junior Madison Marcolla finished with a 264 total
Wisconsin claimed the team title, while Tulsa's Kristina Merkle won the individual medalist honors.
The Las Vegas Collegiate is next up for the Tigers on Oct. 26-28.
