| Press Conference
- The official attendance of 71,004 was the largest crowd at Memorial Stadium since the recofiguration in 1995. The number also stands 10th on the all-time attendance list and the biggest crowd since 1983 (72,348 against Nebraska on Oct. 15).
- The Tigers fall to 5-17 all-time against the Longhorns.
- Missouri's all-time record on homecoming is now 56-37-5. Tonight's loss marks the first loss to Texas on homecoming, as Mizzou entered the contest a perfect 2-0.
- Senior wide receiver Jared Perry caught an 11-yard TD pass to up his career total to 13 touchdown receptions, tied for sixth in the Mizzou all-time list.\
- With his second quarter TD reception, Perry now has seven in Missouri's first six games of the season. He ties Henry Marshall (1975) and Sean Coffey (2004) for the most in a six-game span to start the season.
- Senior wide receiver Danario Alexander caught six passes for 74 yards to jump pass teammate Perry for ninth on Mizzou's all-time receiving yardage list with 1,698 in his career.
- Alexander also caught six passes to move into a tie with Victor Bailey for eighth place with 128 receptions in his career.
- Senior linebacker Sean Weatherspoon picked up up his fourth career interception in the third quarter. It was only the third Tiger interception of the season and the first since sophomore defensive end Jacquies Smith recorded one against Furman in week three.
- Weatherspoon also racked up 11 tackles to pass current Missouri safeties coach Barry Odom for sixth on Mizzou's career tackles list with 363. He needs 12 more to tie Darren MacDonald for fifth place.
- Freshman tailback Kendial Lawrence ran for a career long 22-yard gain in the second quarter. His previous long was 16 yards against Furman. Lawrence's run was also only the fifth rush of 20 or more yards for Missouri this season.
