Mizzou's Mike Anderson To Coach In Hershey's College All-Star Game

April 1, 2009

Columbia, Mo. -

Mizzou Head Basketball Coach Mike Anderson will be back on the sideline with College Basketball Hall of Famer Nolan Richardson this week, as Anderson and Richardson will coach a team in the 2009 Hershey's College All-Star game.

The 2009 Hershey's College All-Star game is scheduled to be played as part of Final Four Friday (April 3) at Ford Field. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:35 p.m. (ET) and admission is free.  All players in the game are seniors.

Anderson will assist Richardson in directing the Hershey's squad, while Illinois' Bruce Weber and Purdue's Matt Painter will serve as co-coaches for the Reese's team.

Anderson's involvement adds to Missouri's presence at this week's Final Four. Mizzou senior guard Matt Lawrence will take part in the State Farm Three-Point Shootout on Thursday night (April 2) at the Palace of Auburn Hills, the home of the NBA's Detroit Pistons. That event can be seen nationally on ESPN at 8 p.m. (CT).
