
Kleiza Leads Lithuania To Quarterfinals Win Over China

Beijing, China - Linas Kleiza scored 15 points and grabbed seven boards as Lithuania routed host China 94-68 in the quarterfinals of men's basketball action at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
With the win Lithuania will now face defending world champion Spain in the semifinals.
The former Tiger was one of four Lithuanians in double figures, led by Sarunas Jasikevicius, a former Maryland Terrapin, who scored 23 points on 5-of-6 shooting from three-point range. Kleiza hit 2-of-4 triples in the win and was a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line.
Yao Ming led China with 19 points thanks to 11-of-13 shooting from the foul line. The Houston Rockets star was joined in double figures by New Jersey Nets second-year performer Yi Jianlian.
