SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of Missouri women's soccer team returns to the Big 12 Tournament Championship for the fourth time in program history on Sunday as the No. 15 Tigers take on No. 10 Colorado at Noon at Blossom Soccer Complex.
In anticipation of the match, the team has produced a one-minute promotional video showing the Tigers' top plays from the tournament and highlighting the important information for following Sunday's match, available here or here.
Fox Sports Net will carry the match live on three regional networks (Fox Sports Midwest, Mountain, and Southwest), and Comcast Philadelphia is also scheduled for a live broadcast. Sunday's match marks the third time the Tigers' have been televised this season, after ESPNU featured matchups with Texas and Texas A&M during the regular season.
Missouri reached the final following a first-round 3-1 victory over No. 9 Texas on Wednesday and a 4-3 penalty shootout in the semifinal against rival Kansas following a 1-1 draw in regulation on Friday. Colorado and Missouri met in Columbia earlier this season with the Tigers earning a 1-0 triumph on October 3rd.
Following the final, The Tigers will await an announcement on their inclusion in the 2008 NCAA Tournament. The 64-team field and host sites will be revealed on ESPN News between 7 and 7:30 p.m on Monday, November 10th.
