
Missouri Concludes Season with 17th Place Finish at Central Regional

ANN ARBOR, Mich.- - The Missouri women's golf team had its season come to an end after finishing in 17th place at the NCAA Central Regional at the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Tigers shot a final round 325 on Saturday to a three-round total of 939.
UCS won the Regional by 11 shots, recording a three-day score of 869. The top eight teams and two individuals advanced to the NCAA Championships in Daytona Beach, Fla. May 22-25.
Mizzou freshman Julia Potter had the best finish of the week for the Tigers, placing in a tie for 56th place with a 54-hole total of 231 after carding at 76 on Saturday, the best final round score for MU.
Senior Stephanie Wavro shot a 79 in the third round and finished in a tie for 58th place with a 232 final total. Sophomore Chelsea Schriewer finished tied for 87th spot, while freshman Ellen Hoeper placed 96th with a 248 score.
