Women's Golf Tied for Eight In Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz.- - The Mizzou women's golf team is in a tie for eighth place after the first two rounds of play at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz. The Tigers turned in rounds of 297 and 293 on Saturday for a two-round total of 590.
Individually, freshman Julia Potter leads the way for MU, with a 36-hole score of 145, carding rounds of 73 and 72 on day one. She is in a tie for 14th place overall. Sophomore Ellen Hoeper is tied for 20th spot with a 146 (73-73) total.
Freshman Michelle Morgan has a two-round score of 149 and is tied for 43rd place while senior Stephanie Wavro and junior Madde Augustsson are among a group tied for 56th place with 151 scores on day one. Sophomore Chelsea Schriewer is competing only in the individual competition and is tied for 66th place with a 153 total.
