Defensive Shutdown…
Missouri limited Western Illinois to 17 points in the first half. That's the fewest points scored by a Mizzou opponent in exactly a year (Nov. 25, 2006), when the Tigers were up 32-17 going into the half vs. Stephen F. Austin.
Quick Starters…
Missouri led 50-17 at the half of today's game. It's the third time in MU's six games this season that the Tigers have scored 50 or more points headed into intermission. They previously did so against Southern on Nov. 16, and the game before against Fordham on Nov. 13.
