Missouri Head Coach Mike Anderson
Opening Statement:
"We had an opportunity to play another team. We outmatched them as a team in a lot of ways, and it showed in the first half. But, there's only one key I always look for, and that is to go out and play hard. They shoot the ball particularly well. We had an opportunity to play a lot of players, and hopefully we'll get more seasoned and get ready for Friday night against North Carolina A&T."
On the big men:
"I thought in the previous game, our guys did a pretty decent job when the caught the ball and they made some good things happen. But you look at tonight and what took place, and sometimes it's the level of competition, but we got to get Kalen [Grimes] rolling, we got to get [Vaidotus] Volkus, we got to have a presence. We'll use this opportunity to find out what to work on. "
On junior guard Stefhon Hannah:
"Stefhon early on, he was trying to go and get the game as opposed to letting the game to come to him. Once he settled down, you can see he's an exciting player, without a doubt."
On the bench:
"They had a lot of minutes tonight, and hopefully it'll pay dividends. With exhibition games, it lets you see where you are when you turn the lights on. Again, we have to get a whole lot better."
