Columbia, Mo. - Junior college transfer Stefhon Hannah scored with one second left to give the Black team an 87-85 win over the Gold in a Missouri Tigers exhibition game Friday night.
Hannah finished with 19 points and six assists, but coach Mike Anderson said that doesn't guarantee Hannah -- or anyone else -- a starting spot.
"You want quality minutes, that's what we want with our basketball team," Anderson said. "Whatever minutes you do get, you want to make sure you give us anything you got. But in terms of who, I have no idea."
Hannah's team led by as many as 21 points in the first half before the 3-point shooting of Matt Lawrence helped pull the Gold team within four points at halftime.
Hannah also had five turnovers, and Jason Horton had eight points, eight assists and also five turnovers.
Marshall Brown led the Black team with 23 points, while freshman J.T. Tiller added 15 points and Leo Lyons scored 11 to go along with his eight rebounds.
Matt Lawrence made six 3-pointers in his 22 points. Kalen Grimes scored 19 points and freshman Keon Lawrence added 18. DeMarre Carroll, a transfer from Vanderbilt, scored 10 points and had 14 rebounds.
Missouri has exhibition games against Missouri-Rolla on Nov. 3 and against Lithuania Academy on Nov. 6 before its season opener.
