Mizzou Prepares for NCAA Regionals

Mizzou practiced on Eddy D. Field Stadium on the campus of Pepperdine on Thursday in preperation for this weekend's NCAA Regional. The Tigers open up the regional on Friday against Pepperdine at 5 p.m. central time.

Missouri travels to Malibu, Calif. this weekend to take part in its fourth-consecutive NCAA Regional. The Tigers will open up against Pepperdine, the host school for this weekend's action. UCLA and UC-Irvine are also in the Malibu Regional. A complete schedule of the Regional can be found on Page 3. All of Mizzou's games can be heard on KTGR 1580-AM in Columbia and on ktgr.com. Live Stats will also be available through Gametracker on mutigers.com and ncaasports.com. This will be the 18th trip to the NCAA Tournament for MU and the 11th since the NCAA has gone to the Regionals format. The Tigers are one of just two teams in the Big 12 Conference to have qualified for NCAA Regionals in the last four years. Missouri has won six of its last seven games, including a three-game sweep over Texas and wins over Oklahoma State and Oklahoma at the Big 12 Conference Tournament.
