Tigers Add Two More Signees To 2005 Recruiting Class

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri women's swimming and diving team has signed two athletes during the second signing period, as announced Wednesday by head coach Brian Hoffer.
Erin Yeager, Breast, Minnetonka, Min. Three-time All-America honoree ... three-time state champion in the 100 breast ... Senior National qualifier and US Open finalist ... coached by Tom France on the Mach 3 Flyers club team.
Hoffer on Yeager: "Erin has completed our women's recruiting class. She brings national level experience to our breaststroke squad. We see Erin coming in and contributing right from the beginning of her career."
Coralie Baumann, Fly, Quincy, Ill. All-American in the 100 fly ... Academic All-America selection ... Quincy High School record holder in the 100 fly and 200 IM ... related to current Tiger sophomore Thomas Baumann ... one of four swimmers on the Mizzou roster from Quincy ... swam for coach Tim Lewarchick on the Sheridan Swim Team.
Hoffer on Baumann: "Coralie had a great state meet this year. She comes from a great family and I'm confident that she'll step up to the challenge that is Big 12 swimming."
Yeager and Baumann round out a class that is considered by many to be the best in Hoffer's tenure at Mizzou, as well as in the program's history. The class is headlined by Columbia native Carly Sullivan and Kendra Melynchuk, a Junior Olympic national champion from Saskatchewan, Canada.
