Busch Braggin' Rights To Release Limited Ticket Quantities To General Public

St. Louis, Mo. -

The excitement is rising once again for the 25th annual Busch Braggin' Rights Missouri vs. Illinois Basketball Game at Savvis Center on Wednesday, December 21, at 7 p.m. This spirited match-up between longstanding rivals, the Missouri Tigers and the Fighting Illini, continues to be one of the hottest tickets of the year, as the game fills Savvis Center with sold out crowds.

With the majority of tickets for this event sold through the University of Missouri and the University of Illinois, a limited number of seats are available for sale to the general public. Tickets will be available to the public through mail-in lottery only. No other public sale will take place.

The Busch Braggin' Rights ticket application will be available on the Savvis Center website by clicking here beginning on Saturday, November 5, at 10 a.m. All ticket applications must be mailed to the Savvis Center Box Office and postmarked no later than Wednesday, November 16, and no earlier than Saturday, November 5. A random drawing will be held and winners will be notified no later than Wednesday, November 30.

There is a limit of two tickets per person. All available seats are mezzanine level and are $45 each plus a $2 per ticket facility fee that will be added to all tickets. All other tickets to this game are sold through the University of Missouri and the University of Illinois.

Since the first men's match-up in 1980, the Illini have taken the series in 1980, 1983-90, 1995-96, 2000-04 for a total of sixteen wins. The Tigers prevailed in 1981, 1991-94 and 1997-99 for a total of eight wins.
